Do you still remember saving your files in a diskette? How about playing your songs in a Walkman? It seems only like yesterday. Right? Technology has advanced so well that many of the things we used to know are now obsolete. In business, failing to keep up with the latest trends can be a downfall.
Take a look at Nokia, the leading cellphone brand during the early 2000s. “We didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost,” said their CEO. What they failed to accept is that they did something wrong. They didn’t keep up with technology, hence losing their authority and customers.
Nowadays, most of our daily activities rely on technology. It’s necessary for our businesses to go digital. But, learning how to adapt is essential too. A study made by Google this 2019, 51% of smartphone users have discovered a new company or product while conducting a search on their smartphone. (Source: https://www.hubspot.com/marketing-statistics) There’s a huge probability that even you, as a consumer, checks or buys whatever you need online. Yes! But, it isn't that easy. You have to create an exceptional marketing strategy.
It helps your brand stands out from the crowd.
The problem with the digital space is the competition. Building an online presence can lead to overshadow by others who are rocking the scene. So how can you stand out? Build an authority by creating engaging content!
First of all, you have to take care of your brand’s image. You want clients to feel that it’s safe to transact with you. Having a great website will help, along with the same handle and photo across all platforms. This creates a sense of consistency. It also encourages your audience to trust you more and remember your brand.
Then here comes the hard part. You have to be in the game. Posting various kinds of content to target your potential buyers is very important. Use high-quality photos, share informative content, capture their attention with videos. Change it up from time to time. The strategies differ from one platform to another. The bottom line here is you have to produce excellent content. Do not outright sell, provide value instead. It does not matter how well you set up your ads. If the copy isn’t good, then it won’t lead to sales.
Aside from ads, influencer marketing is also an effective way to reach your audience. You can do this by contacting people with enough followers. Ask them to plug your product or services in return of cash or free items.
There are many others that we can talk about. It’s best if we can come up with a winning strategy tailored to your business’ needs.
How is your brand's presence? Can we talk about it?
